MUSIC FOR KIDS AND THEIR ADULTS
We are an Austin based family music project creating interactive, high energy musical experiences for children and families. We write songs that engage, inspire movement, musical participation, teach about feelings and empower children to solve problems and be their authentic selves.
Strawbitty Yops has had monthly residencies at The Hive, Cherrywood Coffee House and JO's Coffee, and Brentwood Social House.
We've also played at the following events: Pecan Street Festival, KUTX Rock The Park, Austin Kite Festival, The Breakfast Boogie, Hootenany at The Jalopy, Uncleshomo's Family Concert series at The Jalopy,Spare The Rock, Spoil The Child Unofficial SXSW Music Showcase (2022 - 2023), Brooklyn Central Library, Scottish Rite Theater, 14th St. YMCA Pride Festival, Manhattan Open Streets, as well as various school festivals, libraries, school events, farmer's markets and birthday parties!

Strawbitty Yops are Cindy Haws-Rice, Woody Hill, and Autumn Haws.
Vocals, Ukulele
Cindy Haws-Rice (she, they) is an accessible music teaching artist by day. They are a multi-intrumentalist, prolific songwriter and love to create interactive musical education moments with the audience while on stage. They are the co-producer of the Austin Family Music Series, The Breakfast Boogie and are a board president of the Children's Music Network, and SEL and DEI facilitator for the Rosedale School.
Vocals, Guitar, Beatbox
Woody Hill (they,he,she) has been singing, songwriting and playing guitar since they could walk and talk. They discovered a fountain of boundless energy that makes them a favorite of children of all ages. After every show you can find Woody interacting and songwriting with the kids.
Percussion, Vocals
Autumn Haws is a recent graduate of the University of Texas Interior design program. She is a songwriter, ukulele player, and her beautiful vocal harmonies elevate Strawbitty Yops songs to another level. She is currently a pre-school Montessori teacher and music class leader.
